Приєднався 8 сер 2014
Precision Analytical was started by Mark Newman in April 2012. Mark spent years directing urine and salivary hormone testing labs. This unique experience led to a vision for a revolutionary way to test hormones. Blood (serum), urine, and salivary testing all have significant limitations. Our peer-reviewed and validated testing methods bridge the gap to create better tools for healthcare providers to address the needs of their patients.
Precision Analytical is a CLIA certified laboratory dedicated to helping patients and their healthcare providers find answers to complex clinical questions. Our unique hormone testing and reporting methods create better tools for healthcare providers to explore hormone issues with their patients. We are fully committed to profoundly changing lives through functional hormone testing.

The Science of Cognition: Assessing Brain Health Through Organic Acid Metabolomics
In this advanced presentation, we will explore the intersection of metabolomics, hormone dynamics, and genetics in understanding cognitive health. Our focus will be on critical organic acids such as Homovanillic Acid (HVA), Vanillylmandelic Acid (VMA), kynurenate, and quinolate, which are key indicators of neurotransmitter activity and brain function.
We will discuss how these metabolites interact with crucial hormones like estrogen and cortisol, and how their modulation can influence cognitive functions and susceptibility to mental health conditions. This talk will also extend into the genetic predispositions that affect these metabolic pathways, providing a holistic view of individual biochemical variations and their impact on brain health.
Further, we'll examine additional metabolites including xanthurenate, pyroglutamate, indican, and 8-Hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8OHdG). These compounds provide insights into nutrient balances, gut health, and oxidative stress levels, factors essential for maintaining optimal cognitive performance.
As we delve into how the DUTCH Test can be used to integrate metabolite and hormonal analysis with genetic data, attendees will gain cutting-edge knowledge on assessing and managing cognitive health through a comprehensive biochemical and genetic approach. This session is designed to empower clinicians with the latest tools and research to better understand and treat cognitive disorders in their practices.

Loved reading that Reply! She clearly was off base
thank you for sharing this!
Dr Smeaton mentioned that we have data on bone metabolism.. Would love to see a podcast on evaluating topical hormone for BMD. Thanks
Extremely valuable. Thank you
So if you are on HRT , hot flashes, some signs of low progesterone and blood test confirmed low testosterone, so HRT for this three, can you still take DIM, D- GLUC and or broccoli seeds??!!!!
you just need to shut the fuck up, untill you look healthy. you look terrible
or that bald guy telling us how to be healthy, youre an absolute joke. go look in the mirror
you look scary please stop talking.
Why the comment ?
She is so right, due to prolonged stress, now I am suffering.
🤔
Thank you very helpful explanation

This is so wonderful! Millions of thanks for this lecture
I had adenomyosis. Hysterectomy to keep from losing ferritin stores. Attempted DIM supplement but gave bad headaches- dosing maybe too high.
I was looking on the dutch test website and it says that the test is not reccomended for women with regular cycles. Is that still true if the cycle is regular but with PMDD symptoms?
Hi, came across your UA-cam channel while tryingvto research cortisol normal levels. I have all the symptoms of Adissons but my uk doctor doesn't think anything of my recent cortisol blood tests. 9am - 128 nmo/L and another a week later of 250 nmo/L Could you please adise if these are low and require further investigation? I would be so grateful. Thank you.
I measured my cortisol twice with a clinic but both times they gave me no guidance and the tests in uk not cheap.in the end I took it on myself to start self medicating with HC and even 1.25mg on rising makes a big difference to my energy output.in the morning my cortisol was almost flatline and wasn't much better at lunch time either.its incredible that such a small dose can make such a difference and on my days off i have energy now most of the day.I still suffer from some insomnia though.
This is SO CONFUSING!!! I’ve messed it up 3 times and am ready to just throw it away. The fifth collection is sample #2. 🤦♀️
Is there anything about how to treat a high 16-OH-E1?? Any case study or sth to explore?

This presentation was amazing you covered every topic that I had questions with previously. I’m on the autism spectrum and can confirm that I’m more alert in the mornings and my stemming and procrastination has reduced significantly since taking melatonin. Sleep is still a work in progress but my initial experience is going perfect so far. Week two of melatonin supplementation and so far so good. My full autism spectrum stack: Vitamin D Magnesium Melatonin Sulforaphane Probiotics Vitamin B6/P5P For insulin resistance: Dandelion root and Berberine
Melatonin is also an antioxident in the mitochondria (discovered in 2018). Sunlight and Near infa-red light directed on the mitochondria promotes melatonin during the day! Not related to this discussion. It only stays in the mitochondria and it's neighbor cells. So maybe the pattern is kids play outside and get their melatonin. The average seniors stays inside all day so they don't get healthy amounts of NIR.
This was an amazing webinar, and I rarely would say that. Well done.
Great review. Thanks.
I need to do some tests as I have health problems for 7 months or so. It was a big st ress initially, although I am constantly in stress state, and take anxiolityca. I am wondering what is happening with my cortisol and adrenals, as, my healthcare provider nothing can do more after giivng me one treatment with penicillin antibiotics, which are not helping me .I am with slow energy. I am 65 years.
THA K yank gou so much I am shddrig of sleeping I cant sleep well Isow defferents kind of Docteres but not help me Itsried to get this MELATT IN
Wow. Super informative video.
Yah such a joke. Not giving any actual ways to heal it.
It starts @39:00 Get these in check to stop the negative feedback loop and balance it again. Sorry, there's no magic pill/bullet. Well I guess I could sell you some snake oil if you really want one that bad.
This video really needs updating. Show an example of how someone should be doing the testing and when, using examples with actual people and items like a cup of coffee or getting out of bed. This video relies too heavily on charts and someone reading the directions. I've read the directions, so this isn't helpful. Irregular periods are WAY more extreme than the examples given! +/- 5 to 7 days would be a dream for most women. The women using this kit likely only get a period every 3-18 months so the instructions are useless for the majority 🤦♀️. It fully assumes the women are ovulating at all. What are menopausal or post-menopausal women supposed to do? In addition, over half of women have several hormone cycles and eggs maturing at different rates overlapping with each other and that also affects hormone levels, especially in cases of severe PCOS. A woman needs to do a video on how women should take the DUTCH tests.
Super Informative
Hi Dr Jones. I take high dose melatonin for estrogen positive breast cancer but have recently been told it increases prolactin which increases estrogen. Can you help me with this? I’m post menopausal
This is too hard to understand for the average person. I have my dutch test, and my doctor did not go over any of this! Are you available for consults
I’ve been studying nutrition for 30 years since losing my mom to breast cancer. This is one of the best videos on the topic I’ve ever seen.
Is it possible that fibroids is a symptom of a dysfunctional pituitary gland? After all isn't it the master gland that regulates the whole hormonal system?
This was fantastic..just what I needed to explain the results of my Dutch test. Thank you!
🎉thank you Dr. It was insightful
Amazing video Mr Reagan. ❤ Thank you.
would love for you to address daytime use that many of us are benefitting from.
Hello, is Konjac a prebiotic?
It says that if you are taking Sublingual hormones to check for specific video for instructions. There was nothing in the video that said what to do in this case of sublingual hormones? Also, I messed up my requisition form and need a fresh one. I really made a mess of the Section where you write down Hormone, brand, ROA, dose, Date used, etc.Can I print out a new one? Please advise, I am starting this test tomorrow, Presidents day (Monday) at dinner time. Thanks much!
Too much music
It causes me anxiety I wake to impending doom. And can't live
Hi, I have stage four endometriosis in andomyosis. Can I am C677T homozygous and my body is not detoxing anything I am scheduled for a hysterectomy tomorrow, but I am having really bad feelings about it I would like to be able to keep my organs but I am scared since I have the mutations and all that bad stuff runs in my family because of genetics I have changed my diet and my lifestyle but I am still experiencing oestrogen dominance, mainly due to stress and it got worse whenever I moved into an apartment across the street from a G cell tower
If your doctors send a prescription to a pharmacy in my country will the pharmacy acknowledge that prescription, or refuse to dispense because it's coming from overseas? Will the medication be available in my country? When you are sending the test worldwide you need to provide this info. And you're not. So I can't buy it since I don't know if it will work in my country.
Thank you for this presentation its important to know the root causes and how to treat the fibroids i have a fibroid a size of a grape and possibly growing it does cause pain. Estrogen dominance is definitely at the core us women need more education on these conditions to take control of our bodies . we are in a sea of toxic chemicals and eating the sad diet .
